Recent discussions with SA Tourism and Gauteng Tourism Association (GTA) have revealed that if the City of Tshwane wishes to participate in programmes where these two organisations bring qualified buyers into the country we should submit properly packaged proposals to SA Tourism through GTA.

The TTA will coordinate putting these packages together on behalf of members. Members who are prepared to sponsor and host such visitors are asked to submit their information and proposals to Vanessa on secretary@tshwanetourism.com. Products in the following categories are required:

  • Conference venues (with catering provided)
  • Accommodation providers (with catering provided)

Various "Tshwane Tour Packages" will be put together for GTA and SA Tourism to work from but all participants will be consulted individually on the occasion of each tour regarding the details for the tour.

Message from Wouter Koekemoer, Director: Tourism Promotion, City of Tshwane

Dear Tshwane Tourism Partner
The Tshwane Tourism Division is collaborating with Gauteng Tourism Authority to take the Gauteng website to greater heights. We would appreciate it if you can send us a 2011 Calendar of Events for your organisation in order to promote exhibitions, conventions, conferences and events happening in the City of Tshwane. Please also forward articles or images, brochures, stories or marketing material about attractions or events that are happening in Tshwane that would be a super addition to the website. Events can be forwarded on a regular basis to Irma da Costa at irmada@tshwane.gov.za.
Your assistance in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Regards, Wouter Koekemoer
