TTA rounds off 2015 with business assistance, education and training
The last TTA members' meeting for 2015 was held at the unique circular Colosseum Executive Suite Hotel. The meeting was engaging and allowed the presenters to highlight the importance of staff training and development which is an essential element in improving our standing in international trade.
Dumisani Shawe from the Tourism Enterprise Partnership shared valuable benefits of being a TEP member. Travelling Mystery Guest's Renate de Villiers shared her knowledge on the importance of customer service informing the attendees about her business approach in assisting Tourism product owners by offering customer journey evaluations, workshops and training and Charl Smith from The International Hotel School which is the only master licensee for American Hotel and Lodging Education in South Africa presented on the many opportunities that the IHS has to offer.

Market on Main, which launched in June 2015, is an event-basis market located at 012central, 385 Helen Joseph Street, Pretoria Central. With a focus on regional foods and local design, the market boasts some of Gauteng's finest food vendors, cocktails and craft beers, music and inner city vibes. Tourism meets Art
Fried Contemporary Gallery proudly hosts two exhibitions for the month of November both running until the 28th of November. In the main exhibition space a joint exhibition by Dylan Graham and Cobus Haupt titled Mirror. For this exhibition the artists present new paintings and sculptures which, as Ingrid Stevens states, "begins with the familiar but reflects, all the time, the strange and defamiliar".
In the Collector's Room, Johan Thom presents a body of work he created at the Nirox Foundation in 2014. The prints, titled 'Prints from the Animal Series' are a series of etchings produced by Thom in collaboration with Diane Victor, Willem Boshoff, David Koloane and Bevan de Wet.
