The idea of a Section 21 Company association - coordinated by the private sector - to promote and market Tshwane as a tourism destination, came about in late 2000.
Objectives
TTA wishes to promote Tshwane as an ideal tourist, business, diplomatic and conference destination.
It’s objectives are to speak with one voice while;
facilitating the promotion of domestic and foreign tourism in the Tshwane Metropolitan area in collaboration with local Government
creating a tourism-friendly environment in which the community can benefit
maximising mutually beneficial partnerships though involving all role players in tourism development
improving communication within the hospitality industry through the pooling of resources and information
