The Tshwane Brew Route Launch was a huge success!
The Tshwane Beer Route was officially launched on September 2, 2022, by the Beer Association of South Africa, the City of Tshwane, and the Tshwane Tourism Association. The Tshwane Brew Route’s introduction has broadened the city’s selection of attractions.
Beer enthusiasts and non-beer enthusiasts alike had the opportunity to observe the brewing process at Drayman’s Brewery, learn how to taste drink at Hazeldean Brewing Co., and end the experience with a refreshing beer at Capital Craft.
The Hazeldean Craft Brewery, which began operations in August, was founded and is owned by Marius Botha. He stated that the route’s marketing would have the most value.
Beer tourism, according to Hulisani Thabela, Divisional Head of Tourism at the City of Tshwane, may be especially helpful for sustaining tourist numbers in between peak seasons.
